Q: Is it ok if I talk during my Massage?
A: Yes, it’s up to you if you want to have a conversation during your Massage. And you must ALWAYS speak up if you want a change in the pressure or if you are uncomfortable in any way. And if the Therapist is talking and you don’t like that, you can certainly tell your Therapist that you prefer to be in silence during your session.

Q: How often should I get a Massage?
A: As often as you’d like! It is said that Bob Hope received Massage Therapy EVERYDAY… and he lived to be 100 years old! Now, we recommend our clients to receive Massage at least once every 2 weeks. Because, after a firm Massage, the muscles are going to be looser, the body will adjust to this “new” improved condition and will do some healing of it’s own, and that usually takes about 1 week or 1 and 1/2 weeks so we like to work on them before the muscles start getting tight again.

Q: How can I find a good Massage Therapist?
A: It really depends on what you like. Every person has different needs. Even husband and wive may not like the same Massage Therapist. You have to try many Massage Therapists until you find one that fits your needs.

Q: Can Massage help me lose weight?
A: As a direct result of the Massage, no. However, if you eat because of anxiety, Massage Therapy can help reduce the feeling of anxiety, therefore you don’t have the urge to eat as often or as much. So receiving Massage regularly can help keep those urges down. And, by having a healthier eating habit you will be able to keep your weight under control.
Also, Massage helps improve your self image, you feel better about your body and you feel more connected to every body part. This helps you gain a more positive attitude about yourself, and may encourage you to live a healthier lifestyle, which in return will increase your energy level. All of these factors could motivate you to reach your desired weight.

Q: Can I have a Massage if I have a cold?
A: It depends. Within the first 3 days of catching a cold you should not have a Massage, just plenty of rest and plenty of water is what most doctors always recommend. If you have a Massage during those days, you may actually feel WORSE the day after. Now after the 3rd day if you still have the cold, then it would actually be beneficial to have a Massage, because it can help your body fight off the symptoms.

Q: Can I provide my own supplies?
A: Absolutely. If you are allergic to certain products, or if you relax better with specific aromas or music you are more than welcome to use it. Most Massage Therapist like to experience new ways of doing their work.
